Glossary
Terms we use precisely.
Hospitality vocabulary is used loosely across the industry. Here is what these words mean inside TESSMA.
The single stored object representing a booking and everything attached to it: the rate rule applied, the contract it came from, the channel it arrived through, its financial lines and its change history. Modules read this object; they do not copy it.
A buyer sees supply and rates that are genuinely available to them under their agreement — rather than an open result set that then has to be filtered, quoted and corrected.
Determining the applicable rate at the moment of request by evaluating the buyer’s contract, active constraints and inventory position — instead of maintaining a separate stored rate table per buyer.
Client data is separated as a property of how it is stored and accessed, not by a filter applied in application code that could be omitted.
Any draft, summary or flag produced with model assistance. In TESSMA an assisted output always displays the records it read, and never changes a rate, term or payment without human approval.
